| tCi was selected to complete this important project. Multiple survey
instruments were developed to evaluate why people didn't visit Springfield's
seven museums, and for those who did, what was their level of satisfaction with
the visitor experience. A tremendous amount of valuable data was collected from five surveys, which coupled with exhibits assessment, led to a series of strong recommendations for strategies and actions. The results of the implementation have been most gratifying: a 100% increase in city museums attendance, a plan for a new Visitor Information Center, and a totally revamped Basketball Hall of Fame. "I am writing a recommendation of the work of John D. Feinberg and his team at The Collaborative and their abilities to guide institutions through museum expansion projects. ...helped us target the response to precise audience needs and specific market segments. At the end of the study, our attendance at our museum complex was circa 187,000. This past fiscal year we topped 380,000 attendance."
