Sheridan Heritage Center
Historic Sheridan Inn
Sheridan, Wyoming

The Sheridan Inn is a National Historic Landmark located in the historic community of Sheridan, Wyoming, currently used for a museum. It was built by the railroad in 1893 to promote settlement in the coal mining and agricultural area around Sheridan. Buffalo Bill was a major investor in the facility and auditioned for his Wild West Show from the verandah. As a result of a Wild West Show given in England, the Queen gave Buffalo Bill an extraordinary bar for use in his hotel.

tCi undertook the analysis of the historic Sheridan Inn, drawing on the firm's expertise in evaluating the condition of old buildings, in the renovation and marketing of historic hotels, and in the heritage tourism industry, to determine the feasibility of re-establishing the Sheridan Inn as a hotel.

The Sheridan Heritage Center has used tCi's market and physical evaluation to raise funds for the project with the first phase stabilization and preservation work.
