| tCi was retained to complete a master plan which would appropriately
represent the needs and concerns of the various entities with an interest in
the development of this key portion of the heart of Pueblo. The site master plan contained archaeological pavilions over the current and future archaeological areas, an open grassy area for re-enactments and encampments, an evocation of the El Pueblo fur trading post, an expanded museum building, a scenic and historic byways information center as well as additional site elements. The evocation was completed in the Spring of 2001. "...the many stakeholders participating in the future of the El Pueblo Museum site had strong and differing opinions; The Collaborative was able to listen to all issues and develop a plan that pleased everyone without compromising the facility's design. The final plan was professional and gave the site an exciting freshness in appearance and function that had previously not been considered."
